At Short Creek Farm, we specialize in raising top quality Tennessee Walking Horses for over 30 years. Located in Montevallo, Alabama, we are 30 minutes south of Birmingham and 1 hour north of Montgomery. We strive to raise the best Tennessee Walking Horses, whether that be for showing, trail riding, or both. At a minimum, our broodmares must pass a strict selection process involving disposition, gait, and looks. Our goal is quality, not quantity. We also raise Kathadin and Dorper sheep. With no shearing required, we are able to spend more time focusing on their grazing habits which keeps the herd healthy and of high quality. The sheep flock is raised on pasture grass all year long, with supplemental hay as needed during the winter.
