The Alaska Horse Ranch, nestled in the heart of Big Lake, is “Alaska’s ideal equine playground!” Alaska Horse Ranch backs up to the Iditarod trail system offering a beautiful setting for trail riding in the great outdoors. We currently have several lesson horses; additionally, we have a team of draft paints who will be used for pulling our wagon this coming summer. Our team experience ranges from driving, dressage, and western styles such barrel racing. Alaska Horse Ranch prides itself in our specialization in training unruly horses, and instructing owners in proper training techniques.
