For Tucson area women who want to ride and work with horses every week and already have a year or more of horse handling/riding experience, Surefooted Equines offers scenic trail rides and lessons in its arena. It’s operated by a private horse owner from her home off Ina Road, west of the freeway, using her 3 smaller size horses. This is for women to practice or improve their riding/horse skills. There are a few openings for women in good shape, who weigh under 150 pounds and are 18 to 60+ yrs old. The lessons are for women whose skills may be rusty or who haven’t yet learned/mastered certain aspects of horsemanship (horse handling, saddling, etc).
