HEALING ON HORSEBACK for over 35 years Ride to Walk's (RTW) therapeutic riding program has been enhancing the lives of our local special needs community since 1985, working with individuals from two years old through senior citizens. Many of our riders have neurological deficits stemming from birth trauma, head injury, spinal deformities, a genetic predisposition, stroke and the effects of drugs or alcohol during gestation. Therapeutic riding also benefits those with cognitive and sensory processing disorders (i.e.- autism), and those struggling with mental health issues such as chronic depression, anxiety, and emotional trauma. We love helping people increase their abilities and quality of life!
