Wayne and Tracy originally opened Darby Oaks in 1989 at a rented 12-stall barn in Dade City, which they shortly outgrew. One other move to a larger facility gave Wayne the opportunity to further grow his customer base. In 1997, the dream came true to build the current barn in Bushnell which features 20 stalls and living quarters in the main building, eight stalls in the outer barn, and 19 acres with pastures, paddocks, round pens, show size arena, and a trail obstacle course. Just minutes away are the endless trails of the Withlacoochee and Ocala National Forests. Darby Oaks Stables houses numerous past, current, and future World, International, and State Champions – We welcome all visitors!
