EQUINE ASSISTED ACTIVITIES Equine-assisted activities* (EAA) are widely recognized as beneficial options, other than traditional therapy, for people with physical, developmental, intellectual, and emotional difficulties or disabilities THERAPEUTIC RIDING Therapeutic Riding is the use of horses & horse-related activities to achieve benefits that enhance physical, cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral, & educational skills for individuals with disabilities or special needs. WHAT TO EXPECT When you arrive you will be greeted by the session leader or one of the volunteers. Your rider will be asked to wear an ASTM/SEI certified riding helmet that we will provide for the session if they do not have their own.
