Frank Higgs has dedicated over sixty years to Quarter Horse breeding, establishing himself as a prominent figure with extensive expertise in the field. He is perhaps most well-known for Tinker Red McCue, a stallion he raised from infancy. This exceptional performance horse was both trained and shown by Higgs, who has produced and sired numerous champions. At 86 years old, Higgs remains active in breeding, training, and riding working ranch horses.
