Great Lakes Equine Salt Therapy is located at Bierman Equestrian Center for drop-in services, as well as a mobile Halotherapy unit, accepting farm calls for all of West Michigan horse facilities. Salt therapy is a non-toxic and all-natural therapy directly benefiting the respiratory system, coat, and skin. Salt therapy improves respiratory functions needed in performance horses and aids with respiratory diseases. Pharmaceutical grade Himalayan salt is broken down to microparticles and dispersed by a Halo-generator as an aerosol. Particles are inhaled deep into the airways and lungs while particles can also be absorbed into the coat to aid with skin conditions.
