If Wishes Were Horses Foundation, Inc. - nonprofit adaptive horsemanship and riding programs for individuals with developmental, physical, and mental disabilities. Individualized lesson plans are built on a person-centered philosophy of programming for the individual's needs. Whether you're focusing on flexibility, coordination, exercise, balance, and communication skills each client gains self-esteem, unconditional acceptance, confidence, and self-control. Upon application and acceptance to the program, the first lesson is free to make sure this program is right for them. Lessons are $50/hr, ask if scholarships may be available.
