Big River Barn Rescue Inc offers the unique opportunity to ride horseback on spectacularly beautiful trails in the middle of Nassau County, Long Island. Our barn is situated on the largest nature preserve in the county, with over 500 acres and endless miles of trails through woods and fields that most people don’t even know is here. All skill levels are welcome, including first time riders and experts. Small groups only, with lots of individual attention. Our horses are all rescues, each with their own stories (which I’d be happy to tell! ♥️). They are well-trained, personable, and professional; many have been with us for over ten years. Want to bring your little kids? Come for a barn visit with pony rides for kids under 12.
