All lessons are taught by Claudia Hutchinson. Ms. Hutchinson has over 30 years experience teaching riders of all levels, from beginners to advanced. She specializes in dressage and jumping and particularly enjoys providing beginners with a solid foundation for their riding careers. She was for more than 20 years Coach of the Denison University Equestrian Team and has coached show riders in dressage, hunter-jumpers, and eventing, and ideas from all of those disciplines inform her teaching. Ms. Hutchinson has a bachelor’s degree in education from Ohio State University and her teaching style is supportive and upbeat. She encourages riders not just to master techniques, but to ask questions and understand why particular techniques are used.
