Established in 1969, Thorncroft is one of the premier Therapeutic Equestrian Centers in the United States. Thorncroft specializes in therapeutic horseback riding and other equine-assisted services (EAS) for both children and adults with mental, emotional, and physical disabilities. Thorncroft is a mainstreaming facility offering recreational horseback riding lessons as well. Due to the high demand of our lesson program, please email Admissions Manager Jordan Gray at jordan@thorncroft.org for more information. Thorncroft does not offer trial rides, trail rides, one-time lessons, or riding without an instructor. Thorncroft is here to serve; we provide an inclusive environment of love, respect, and belonging.
