Daufuskie Marsh Tacky Society is a 501c3 charitable organization founded in 2015 to protect the SC State Heritage Horse in its native habitat on Daufuskie Island through equine oriented programs that benefit the public. We are currently in the process of building our new barn on our permanent property located at 281-294 Old Haig Point Rd. Drop by during our regular hours, meet and greet a Tacky, and more about their importance to the history heritage and culture of the Lowcountry. We currently offer guided trail rides, lessons, day camps, therapy sessions, birthday parties and living history tours. We also offer drinks, snacks, stickers, shirts and other gift items for sale.
