Stephanie Blockley - Clarke and Ann Tukey Shideler are consummate professionals with great attention to detail in their teaching and training. Dressage is the main focus at Meadowgate. Beginning with the teaching of proper groundwork and the creation of clear communication between horse & rider, instruction progresses to the development of good balance and independence of aids while riding, as well as the learning of those skills necessary to direct the horse. Safety of horse and rider are of paramount importance, lessons are private. Lesson horses are well trained, reliable, and only work once a day. Meadowgate is the home of Skagit Valley Pony Club for kids with their own horses, those who do not use ponies belonging to Ann.
